Butte College Will Offer Winter Session and Spring Semester 2021 In a Remote Environment, Limited in Person Classes

Butte College will offer Winter intersession and Spring 2021 courses mostly in a remote environment, similar to its Fall 2020 schedule. Butte College plans to offer 90 percent of its classes remotely, with 10 percent of its classes taught in person with appropriate safety protocols in place. Student Services will also be delivered primarily online.

“We will continue, for the most part, the practices we put in place this fall semester. Difficult-to-convert courses will continue with in-person components while all other classes will be delivered via distance education. Exceptions to this will be determined on a case-by-case basis,” said Butte College President Samia Yaqub. “This continues to be a dynamic situation, and may change if state and federal guidelines change. Our students will continue to receive an exceptional education at Butte College regardless of the modalities in which it is offered. The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff continues to be our focus.”

Butte will offer its three-week winter session, beginning January 4, while its Spring Semester begins January 25. For more information call 530-895-2511 or email: Questions@ldmuyj.com
